Mou was classically trained in piano and  a member of the National Piano Guild by age 10.

But her heart lay in the punk rock poetry she began writing poetry as a teenager.

At 18, she moved to San Francisco where she realized a passion for songwriting, and began to hone her skills, learning guitar and writing the words to the anthems in her head.

At 26, she moved to Los Angeles to follow her love of rock n roll music, to write songs and become a band member.

She has also lived in NYC and Portland, Oregon.
