Mou was classically trained in piano and  a member of the National Piano Guild by age 10.

Her love for the written word led her to start writing poetry as a teenager.

At 18, she moved to San Francisco where she discovered her love of songwriting, and began to hone her skills, learning guitar and writing prose.

It was her goal to be able to combine the elements to compose and write songs.

At 26, she moved to Los Angeles to follow her love of music, write songs and become a band member.

She has also lived in NYC and Portland, Oregon since 2019.
